French Toast Custard

Ingredients

  • 1/8 C flour
  • 1 C milk or cream
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • sliced bread

Directions

  • Whisk all ingredients together, expect flour, in a large bowl
  • Sift flour into custard and combine
  • Preheat griddle to medium and lightly butter
  • Dip bread in custard and fry each side for about 4 minutes
  • Top with Heidi’s Jam and whipped cream
  • Maple Syrup is optional
