The perfect recipe for fresh Cranberry Sauce with a Raspberry Twist – Delicious!
12 oz fresh cranberries
1/2 c. Water
1/2 to 1 c. Sugar (to taste)
1 small cinnamon stick
Pinch dry ginger
1/4 tsp. Grated nutmeg
3 to 4 ounces Heidi’s Red Chile Raspberry Jam (1/3 jar)
Zest oranges and set aside
Juice oranges into a pot, straining seeds and pulp
Add water/cranberries/spices/salt/and 1/2 c sugar
Cook 15 minutes on medium heat
Taste and adjust sugar as desired
Cook until cranberries pop, smashing with a spoon if needed.
Cool for 10 minutes and serve immediately.
Or chill overnight in the fridge to allow flavors to meld.
