Use our delicious Strawberry Jam to create these delightful bars.
Ingredients:1 stick unsalted butter (125g) room temp
1-1/2 c flour (225g)
1-1/2 c rolled oats (140g)
1/2 c brown sugar packed (110g)
1/2 tsp baking powder
Pinch salt
1 egg
10 oz Jar of Heidi’s Strawberry JamInstructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Toast oats for 10 to 15 minutes stirring occasionallyLine 9×9 pyrex with parchment (a small amount of oil will allow the parchment to stick and not slide around)
Mix dry ingredients together breaking up any clumps of brown sugar.Add softener butter and mix until combinedAdd egg and mix until mixture is moistenedPack 2/3 of mixture evenly into your lined pyrex
Pour 1 jar (10oz) Heidi’s Strawberry Jam over the top and spread evenly
Sprinkle remaining mixture evenly over the top pf the jam, press lightly
Bake for 40 to 45 minutes on center rack, turning once halfway through the cooking time
Should appear golden brown on top
Rest a minimum 1 hour or overnight to setup
Remove from pyrex and cut into bars
